Bed Sizes

We make several standard sizes of beds, shown below. These are now all measured in centimetres, although some of the standards are very close to their equivalent imperial (feet-inches) measure.

Wider beds are also available. Please discuss your requirements with your retailer.

The Floor Space you need

The width and length measurements above correspond to the size of the mattress. The bed frame will add between 1.5cm and 9.5cm to the mattress width, depending on the design

The bed frame will add between 7.5cm and 22cm to the mattress length, depending on the design.

Our bedside tables require 47 cm (1ft 6ins) by 47 cm (1ft 6ins).

For a double bed with a bedside table on each side, you therefore need to allow a minimum of 105cm (3ft 6ins) more than the width of the bed.
